Avatar Madness!

So I know this is super lame but I got Really into it last night! Making Avatars out of my family! LOL.. I was on YouTube looking up PSE (photoshop) tricks to apply to my pictures bc I haven't really quite figured out how to use it yet and found this... Added it on a different posting.. anyway.. I made my grandma into an avatar first before I really looked into how to configure the faces.

Ok yeah so it's a little creepy.. Keep in mind that my Grandma is in the hospital and just got done having a blood mass removed from her spine.. Anyhow, it made her smile and that's what really matters.

Next, after seeing this picture my mom freaked and HAD to have one so she sent me her picture and I made the next avatar.

So I am obviously getting better at this LOL.. but still not pleased with the outcome so I decided to do my Aunt Carla who has passed away from Breast Cancer. She was a HUGE Avatar fan and her and mom used to watch it together in her last days. I knew she would want one if she was here with us so here is my next creation and my most favorite ;o)

I am sure she is smiling in heaven knowing that she is now an Avatar.

Since Auntie Carla turned out better than mom I of course had to remake her...

Finally, a beautiful Avatar not so creepy.

And for the grand finale ((((DRUM ROLL))))

Of COURSE!!!  I had to be one too!!

Needless to say my husband thinks I am CRAZY!! But he knows when it comes to making my Momma happy I will go to great lengths. Especially when HER momma is sick.

Hope you find the pictures fun!

the real deal

Today was.

Today was one of those "I am a kid today too." days. So minus the Pumpkin Spice Latte I got from Starbucks we did what any kid would want to do today.

Luke ate bread for breakfast and watched his 30min of cartoons.
Joe (who is becoming VERY independent) fed himself (or covered himself rather) with peach yogurt and ate a banana.
Mommy had yogurt and a nice long hot shower.

We then went to Barnes and Noble where we read every halloween book and anything else the boys wanted to read.
Joe loves "EL__ MO" thats how he says it. And trust me we read our fair share of his books.
Luke wanted to read Strawberry Shortcake and who could blame him the girls are supa cute LOL.. At least that's what I tell myself.
We topped off our trip with lunch:

Luke at a chocolate cupcake.
Joe had a chocolate brownie.
Mommy had a blueberry muffin, which joe ate half of.

Once we got home the boys took a mini nap, while mommy finished a present for Lexi Belle.

After nap, it was a short walk to the grocers for movies and yes, more brownies.

To top off the evening we had a delicious dinner of:

Luke ate brownies and popcorn and chicken nuggets while watching Mario Bros. "The Movie"
Joe at Creamy Creole Pasta leftovers, popcorn, and yes brownies.
Mommy ate everything...  ;o)

Joe and I played tickle war until he farted on me in typical Bromley fashion.

Then, it was our standard 4 B's:
Bath, Brush, Books, and (my favorite time) BED.
